Whats everyone think of a 96 rm250! Anything that makes it stand out from other bikes, good and bad? Someone wants to trade and I want a 250cc bike but dont know to much about the rm.

the rm's are nice rides. a friend of mine has a 95 250 and it has a pipe,and reeds in it and it fly's! They are extremely fast. As a matter of fact the first day he had it he met up with a tree in 3rd gear and totaled it. He got a new frame,tank,radiaters,front rim,forks,and plastic and it is now a complete bike again. he wont get it outa 2nd tho..Id go for it if its in decent shape, just take it easy till ya get use to it

i would never buy anyting but a honda and yamaha they perform the best and are them most reliable thats just my personal oppinion

bubba lewis says [edited for profanity] hondas and yamahas if you want a good fast bike you need a suzuki theres nothing performance about a honda every one i ever had stays broke they are nothing but crap. my suzuki aint never broke down.

I have a 1991 RM 250 and I never really liked suzuki's but man this RM has been trouble free so far it has good power and great suspension,if it's anything like the 91 go for it.
