My 200s has the compression cable, and it pulls very easily. My buddy had one with no cable, and I nearly dislocated my shoulder a few times pulling that one. I think the rope broke at least twice during the year he had it.

You tough guys are always saying that the compression cable is no big deal, or more trouble than it's worth, but I've gotta have mine. I keep thinking that I must be a big wimp.

Neither my 200S that I had or my current 185S have the cable, and I never use the decompresser, I just make sure they are tuned good enough to start within a couple pulls, to save my arm.

Most of the cables were removed and left of if a person had to take the recoil off to change the rope or remove the recoil for some reason. It was just quicker to throw the recoil back on there and ditch the cable and tape up the hole.
yea the previous owners told me that it had just had a new pull starter in it which probably explains why theres no decompression cable but thanx 4 that lever trick i can still start it without it but if im not feeling very energetic it will be good 2 know
