    yamaha 225dx spark arrester?

    I do not know where the spark arrester is located. The manual says it is located inside the muffler. Does it just pull out the rear of the exhaust?

    Yep, it pulls out the rear of the exhaust and it's very hard to get out if it's been in there a while. I destroyed mine getting it out and had to get a replacement from a dealer. Mine looked as if it had never been taken out though... good luck!
