    maybe completely off but fyi, I have an 82 200E and an 84 200ES...recoil on the 200E was in good shape...wanted it on the shaft drive...no worky.

    The 200e wont work on the 200s. the 200s have an allumium piece inside of the case with three little pieces that engage to catch to turn over hte motor. The 200e has one tooth to cath and the inside disc is plastic. To my knowledge it wont work.

    Ok people, listen up. THE 200E and ATC200 STARTERS WILL INTERCHANGE WITH NO PROBLEMS. I used the 200 starter on my 200E before I got the 200E pullstarter fixed, and then used the 200E starter on my 200 when it was broke for a while. The only difference between the 2 is that the 200 starter has a hole in the top for if you want to use the automatic decompression. Again, THEY WILL BOTH INTERCHANGE 100%
