Just found this post and thought i would add something. I am running the TAG XT1bars on my Tri-Z. They are 1 1/8" bars that still have the crossbar on them, CR Hi bend. I used Fat Bar clamps made for a CR125 that bolted right to the tri-z tripple clamp. VERY TRICK! However, like said previously, the clamps are ALMOST in the bends of the bars. See for yourself

I have pro tapers on my 200x and they're awesome.
If you can't fix it with a , its an electrical problem.

85 ATC 200s--Ratted out and not running at the moment

86 ATC 200x--All stock other than the handle bars

85 ATC 250es Big Red -- Just got new rubbers and she wants to ride!!

04 Suzuki LTZ250 quadsport - It was a decent price and I'm a raging idiot.

    ProTaper bars

New Protaper ATV highs, ASV C5 shorty levers, Renthal dual compound grips. I rode 80 miles of trails yesterday and the stiffer bars offer better control and less vibration than stock. Not too sure about the grips yet. They are definitely sticky but not very soft. I have some serious blisters on my hands after that long ride. The ASV levers are rock solid and seem to make the clutch and brake easier to use and more effective, but it could just be the fact that they look cool as hell making me think that way!
