Whats holding my axle in the hub?
Ive removed the dust seals. I can see the bearings... I dont see any clips or anything. Tried giving it a few love taps with the mallet but the axle dosnt seem to want to budge. Do pound it to get it moving? I dont want to damage the axle or hub.
Am I missing something?

Rust!!!! or the bearing are seized to it. PB blaster it and let it sit then try to tap it out.

Ahh... I see what I missing. Just looked at a parts finch. Theres a collar on the axle I gotta take off. Didnt look like thatcomes of but it does.

Catch me if you can
The axle seizes to the inner bearing races, the 2 outer collars and the inner collar that spaces the bearings. I usually use the 20 ton press to get em out....

Yeah I sprayed them down with lube but they didnt budge.
