After going to Silver Lake over the weekend, i had a chance to see Danimals new Hand built Jemco for his 86 Tecate. I have to admit i'm a bit jealous. It is an amazing looking piece that is a work of art. So, i called Jemco today. When i asked about a pipe for a Tri-z, he said yep. 84-85 Tecate, no problem. Unbelievable...... I couldn't believe what i was hearing. He said he still has the jig and mount fixtures, and as long as he's still alive, he can build them. So i say why spend big money on a old beat up sectional when a brand new one can still be bought. He said they did a lot of research back then to make them perform at their best. And that the design of the exhaust is the exact same as when the bikes were new. So, they are truly old school. At $275 it may seem high, but...... consider a run of the mill D.G. will set you back close to $200, and a hand built sectional doesn't really seem to bad. I want one !!!!!!!!!
