    Thumbs up

that is a sweet setup. I am looking to put 28mm flatside, too. I was wondering how it would get mounted. Looks like White Bros just made a flange so it could just bolt on. Thanks for posting

It reminds me of how the prisoners on death row have fun waiting for their turn on the electric chair. Fair enough, the trike isn't an electric chair, but it is about as safe and comfortable as one."

did you bore that intake or consider machining a newer one?

I've never understood how we all purchase new carbs but most run the tiny ass stock intake...

Hey DC, lookin good man! I'm sorry I wasn't able to answer all your questions while you were doing that build. I was up to my armpits in busted up HUMVEEs at the time. Anyways, I'm bringing my 86 200X down here to Moab so hopefully I can finish that thing. Keep up the good work and keep the rubber side down!

I hope to get together with you when you get back at it.....

I scored a brand new Supertrapp, a sprocket specialists 35 rear aluminum sprocket and the terry cable. I'm adding as many sweet parts to this as I can.

I wonder if I'll ever find a Wescoast for an 86/87X

I have to get 5 gallons of VP or Cam2 before I can get it all dialed in, I ought to have enough friggin jets by now

Got the new Mikuni in today......

Just gotta turn it down and build a flange. I hope the rear intake is on center to the front, otherwise I'll have to take it apart, mount the flat surface down on the mill and use a boring head to turn the outside down on center.

It's uhmmmmmmmmmm, gonna be awhile kids

    LOL..........

The inlet and outlet are not on center. But there's another way to do it. I forgot I have a four jaw chuck!! Just takes more setup time, thats all......

I gotta find someone willing to make me a 4 mil stroker kit and I'll start another motor from scratch. I think I have 7 86/87 200X motors

    SuperTrapp PC'ds ands installed!

Brand new Super Trapp is now installed after the Mikuni flatslide - I'm getting the finishing touches done!!

It started out tough, I have only one "cone" and no matter what I did, it rubbed the frame so that didn't work. I ended up slicing it on the band saw and rotating it about 20 degrees give or take to get it lined up.

Then I just migged it back together. So here is welded and on the bench..... I used Hi temp "smooth" black powder.

And then here it is installed.

The headpipe is an 85 Cobra and you have to heat it up and tweak it just a hair, and chop off a few inches. If you don't have the ST headpipe, it's an option.

Jeffmeister, I still have to.... (want ) buy that ST cone from you (If I still can!!) I think yours was an 85 200X cone but I can chop, grind, lengthen and weld that snapper up I'd like to try and roll form another one for a pattern.....

The kicker is off of the motor to be PC'd as well.... The stock paint was junk in 2 rides and washes It's all good, I'd rather PC it and be done with rustoleum type paint....

I have a bit more jetting to do, maybe a new rear fender (Whats the point? I ride, I crash and this one is good enough....) and I need a better rear master cylinder that fits in and out of the way. The stock one may work, not sure what this one is but the other 86 maters I have a beatup and nasty......
