my flywheel keeps coming loose. it sheard the woodruff key the first time. i'm afraid i will break the bolt if i try to tighten any tighter. any suggestions?

Get some lapping compound and mate the crank and magneto together. It is liquid sand paper and you need to get your crank smooth as well as the mag.
Or you are not tightning the nut on tight enough.

yeah the crank is a little rough, and it seems like the bolt may be a little too long. thanks for the help! can i get lapping compound at autozone?
It is just liquid sand paper. You smear it on the surface areas and twist the compound around on the crank and mag. Eventually all the pits and rust will come out. And you will not break another key way. I use to buy keys by 4 or 6. Just so I had a back up......

so i put the compound on the crank and spin the flywheel around it till she as smooth as a baby's butt. i'm gonna go try that. thanks again!
thanks man the valve lapping compound worked great. that *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* was kinda expensive
