Exclamation KLT250 need sum advice or some one who knows about these

Hi folks was up i have KLT250-a
when i first got it the battery was dead
so i bought a new one charged it etc installed it same way the other one was
and hit electric start and the starter started smokin so instead of leting it burn up
on me one day i went and got a new one now when i hit start i hear a click [Click]
only way i can get it to start is the ol screwdriver method hot jumping it
then and after that the start just runs no engine start i looked at the wireing closely gotta OEM wireing guide every thing looks like its correct the piston moves
i can feel the air when the spark plug is out then i looked and seen there was no spark coming out of the plug so i bought a new plug and still the same a friend thinks its the coil but he dont have an 3 wheeler just a quad i needa opinion from a klt rider or a well knolegable 3 wheeler junky :P lol

Check if the gas is flowing to the carburetor. An easy way to check this is to remove the drain bolt at the bottom of the carburetor. I think the KLT250 have an electric fuel pump.

no spark = CDI they are the weak point on those trikes, you need to take the cdi off and test it on a klt 200, 250, or an 86- 87 bayou 300 to see if you get spark. if not, you might find a cdi for any where between 60 bucks on e-bay to 386.00 at the dealer. they only way to get a new CDI is to order for an 86 bayou kawasaki says they don't have they for the klt anymore, but its the same unit
