    Thumbs down Shifter ON 250SX

I bought a shifter off of 250rmanfmf on ebay for a 250SX, and it did not fit at all. Click the link to see which one i bought. It said it was a tad shorter than OEM. But it didnt even reach as seen in pictures. It was also missing the screw. I just wanted to let you guys know in case you needed to by a 250sx shifter. I dont want anyone to buy this from this guy and have it not fit. Just giving you guys the heads up.

Have you contacted him about it? He may have accidently sent the wrong shifter...
    He's a member on here isn't he?

EDIT: I guess since the splines fit, it's probably not the wrong one. It was just a thought.

That looks like it would fit ok if it was bent in just a little bit. Thats a shame. I wonder if it could be possibly a blem/defect from the manufacturer?

Even if I tried to bend it, I wouldnt be able to put my toes under it.

The splines are the same on at least 95% of the honda's. That one looks like a Atc70 shifter, and I know it would fit the sx splines.

    250SX Shifter

It looks like a bad case of the bends or its for another model. Here is a picture of my 85 SX shifter.

I think Louis meant that if you straighten it out (in a vice) and then angle it just a hair that you'll gain a bit of length also. Returning it is a wast because he probably won't eat the shipping...

The real SX lever is long and has a flatened type rubber tip and not rounded.
