    Bombardier Can Am Dirt Bike

    Hey
I just traded my 84 200es big red for a 1980 Can am qualfier 400 straight up. The bike was said to run but needs a kickstart. It seems to be low on compression so im going to price some parts for it. Can anyone tell me anything about this bike and is there any good places to get parts

My Trike Sucks: I sent you a PM, i definately need some parts.

Alrighty, some progress was made tonight. I pulled the head off and either the head gasket is 3 copper layers or the previous owner never took the old head gaskets off instead he just layed them on 1 over another. Cylinder needs a bore or I need a new cylinder. What ever is easyer. So this far I know i need a piston kit and a cylinder as well as a gasket kit

That was more likely done on purpose, to lower the compression on it, ill see what i can find you for parts, how's the bottem end look? any play in the rod or main bearings,?
