Those are couplings which is fine as long as they fit. The 200CC forks take either a 3/4 or 1" PVC that has to be ground down just a bit to fit inside the tube. I'll bet that coupling is perfect for a 250R fork spring diameter but it's all the same crap.
For the guys that cut there own, you have to make sure that there isn't ANY PVC cut crap that can come off and work it's way into seal area.

Cant say im a fan of the whole PVC pipe stiffner, Quickens up the rebound too much Imo...

SO that's what you guys use to stiffen up the front forks then huh?! haha Heck I was going to use heavier oil but how does this work actually?
It just preloads the spring. The bigger the spacer the greater the preload. Think about it for a second it'll make sense.![]()
ahhh I got in nowtook a sec or 2
Do these go inside the fork tube? They look like seal savers to me. Where can you get seal savers?

They go inside the tube and preload the spring.
I think most of us started doing it because were old and fat.... It most likely does increase the rebound rate but I honestly can't say that even fresh 23 yo forks are willing to absorb a big impact. They work, they do the trick but better fork designs are needed for big leaps.
Mine are about 1.250" long and I run 15 or 20wt, they look at you with 2 heads when you ask for 20 wt, I guess the next step would be to run gear oil![]()
