    Kawasaki ke 100 question

I drained the oil out of the tranny after i bought it,and filled it up with new oil. ( 10W-40) It took 2 quarts to fill to the top. My question is...was i suposed to fill it all the way to the cap???..cuz now in 3rd+ gears when i floor it the clutch slips....i was wonderin if it can have to much oil and cause this to happen?? does anyone know how much it is suposed to take??? its a 94 ..thanks

2 quarts???? Yeah its WAY overfilled! Should take a 1/2 to 3/4. Most 2 strokes have a small phillips screw or bolt with 10mm head a little lower than half way up the side cover. You take that screw out, and fill til oil runs out the screw hole, and thats where you stop, and put the screw back in.
