New to the board
hi guys, new here got a problem need some help . I bought a 85 honda atc250sx from a buddy. it 's run before i clean the carb but won't start up now . i m getting fuel,getting fire. compress good . vavles set to tdc at compress side as say per serice manual says but getting popping and air out of carb went try to crank .please need help thanks, clluke

Sounds like your timings off a tooth or so or 180 degress out.

New to the board
Timming lines matching up. What is all the jet setting for the carb .The book only as the 2turn out setting on fine tune.Just wanting to know if jet are set wrong . My boy and me are trying to fix it (A daddly ,son think!). We didn't write ant setting down.
