Ghetto swingarm bolt no stick fix for 200X

Ladies and Gents....... We are sick of having our swingarm bolts stick, only to ruin them with a sawzall to get them out. Here is my fix. Feel free to chime in with thoughts or other methods.

I do not know if this has been done and posted, but this is how I just did it. I first drilled and tapped the 200X swinger to accept a zerk fitting. I then took the collar that rides in the needle bearings and my cut off wheel and cut 2 small grooves in the collar. This will allow for the swinger bolt to get grease from the easily accessible zerk fitting.

it sounds good on paper but i think it will force out the end seals before going all the way to the middle of the bolt.

all you need to do is tear it apart over winter and grease the tube and bolt.

the only way i seen work pretty well was a bolt with zerks on each end

a bolt with zerks on both ends would be sweet, but on the 83-83 200X, you would need to get the bolt machined to accomplish that. Like the title says, "Ghetto"

you would only have to drill into each end like 2'' or so....maybe a little more then drill a 1/16'' hole down to that hole and your done... nothing high tech about that

but i still say tearing it apart is the best way to prevent a seized bolt
