    200es wont idle right...

Okay, got a 200es that was in a sorry state of order, had a nightmare getting her running, but eventually got there with a lot of patience.

So now she's running but won't idle properly, she'll start and if given throttle will stay revved for a while then slow and die. Carb has been overhauled, idle screw has been anywhere from full in to full out...

She's running the needle clip in the centre slot, should I try leaning her out a bit??

I have a vid on youtube....

Double check the slow jet make sure its not clogged, you should be able to see daylight through it. Also check your airscrew, off hand I dont know how many turns from lightly seated it should be but the norm is 1 to 1.5 turns out.
4 Strokes are NOT the wave of the future!

I fought similar issues and just couldn't get the idle right, had the air mixture screw almost falling out. Cleaned the carb 2-3 times, checked the timing. Finally, out of desperation I checked the cam timing, it was off by 1 tooth. It ran, but acted like the timing was way retarded.
No low end, and reved really slow and took a while for the idle to drop.
