help oil leaking maybe seal in backward?

well running my 86 kxt around, i keep getting oil spraying on the chain from somewhere. so i took the chain and front sproket off to do some inspecting since that is where most of the oil was. the sproket and chain were covered in oil. the frame around the area too. it doesn't do it while sitting overnight, only when it's running. whole motor was redone including bearings and seals. the only thing i can think of is that is looks like the seal i installed for the front sproket shaft, i think, is installed backwards. i don't konw if it makes a difference or not, but the metal cup part of the seal is towards the inside and the spring around the rubber seal is towards the outside so you can see it. this is oposite of all the other seals. anyone know if that's my problem here. everything else seems to be great. this oil leak is really annoying. i also don't have too much oil in either. i measured it out with a measuring cup right on at .8 L of oil.

appears i forgot the small o-ring oil seal that goes on the other side of the spacer. i ran the bike with no front sproket and saw oil come out. so hopefully someone can learn from my dumb mistake. always those small little parts.
