    riding a cadillac...

was at awedding yesterday for my wifes cousin, and got the chance to ride a big red. i must say, the thing was like driving a cadillac. smooth over the rough stuff, comfortable sitting, i liked it alot. took me some time to stop using the rear brake lever for a clutch, lol, and a bit slower then what i am used to, but all in all i liked it, might just have to find me one. this one is an 85 i believe, and the thing is all original except the tires and rifle pouch. plastics were in awesome shape, no cracks or faded, fired up with the first push of teh electric start, which was also nice, instead of having to kick it over. all in all it made a pretty good impression on me. i am more of a race bike type of person, manual clutch, balls to the wall, 2 stroke. the slower laid back pace was nice to just cruise with, and the thing went anywheres it was pointed at. all i could say when done was....coooooooool!!

1985 KXT 250 Tecate - kx cylinder, kx ignition, bassani headpipe, answer silencer, v-force reeds, 38mm airstyker carb, +2 franks swinger, raptor rear shock.

    1996 YSF240 Blaster - maxxed out!!!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY SH-T, what a ride!"

my next bike for shure, my buddy dropped by with his 86 and it need work been sitting for 7 years, hes like heres my credit card buy what u need to make it trail ready, my jaw hit the ground i was like dennis kirk here i come, tank, battery, seat cover, startor, light bulbs , oil, oil filter, air filter, 3 gallons of gas. never in my life did i sit on a big red. i put all the things on the wheeler, then i sat my azz right on that cushie set. Hit the start button, and fell in love. He told me i had 6 weeks. I had it finish in a week. 5 weeks of big red to my self. and it was insured and registered. Never rode so much in my live. they are my favorite bike by honda. but they go for 1,200 to 2000 jump on and ride my area. find one sitting and hiding somewhere and get it for cheap.

That looks like the original front tire, too.
