    Question Is this right?

    I think my stator is missing the spark advancer. Does it look like it is missing it and is it installed wrong?

    i use paint to make my pics smaller. right click on the mouse, oopen with... paint, go under image, stretch/skew until you get it where you want, save to desktop, then up load.

    Looks good. The spark advancer is on the left end of the cam. Pull off the CDI cover (I think it is labled CDI), there are 2 screws holding the cover on.

    could a spark advancer get messed up? I hate troubleshooting electrical without the right tools. So if my stator looks good what could it be? The coil is good, i tested it on another bike and it works.

    Heres the whole electrical wiring. Does it look hooked up right? The black and red wire coming from stator is connecting to black and white wire. Is that right. Plesae help. I wanna RIDE

    Whats the possibility that the cdi is bad? Do they usually go out at this age?The guy i got it from thought it was the stator so i put in new one and i checked the coil and its good.Is there anything else that can fail in the wiring or is cdi and timing left?

    Could you tell me more specificialy where the exciter coil is?I dont know where the lighting coil is either. Once I find it, what do i look for on it? How do i test it?
