    86 tecate topend. Porting/Reeds?

The topend to my 86 looks as if someone has done a little porting, im not very familiar with this but im pretty sure it has been done. Looks like someone grinded off around some of the ports inside.. I will try to get pics of this up. Also can anyone tell me what this is in my reeds. Never seen somthing like, and doesnt show it in the manual... Thanks

Its some sort of velocity mixer for better flow. Stock on all 86-87s reed cages. It can run without but i heard it performs better installed? Yeah i dont think you can order them from kawi either but i havent looked in a while at those diagrams.

Its a reed stuffer, it fits inside the reed cage. I've had two tecates that came with them as oem equipment. I think that part has been discontinued from kawi though.
