What is the 250R stator output?

The headlight burnt out on my 86 250R the other day, the low beam still works but the high beam died.....so since Im too much off a cheap ass to go buy a new bulb, and I already have this one sitting around here, Im wondering if I could use it in my R?

The stock bulb is 60/55W, and the one I have is 100/55W, so Id just be getting a better high beam, and the bulb is also blue coated/Xenon. My snowmachine had the same headlight (60/55W) and I put one of these 100/55W bulbs in it and I absolutely loved it, wayyyyyyy more light output.

So...the bulb fits in the housing and all, but will the stock 250R stator power it? What is the output of the stator? Also, the engine is from an 85R if theres any difference between 85 and 86 stators. Thanks!!
