running rear disc on a 185s/200e?

is it possible to upgrade to disc rear brakes on the 200e/185s rear drum setup? I was thinking that while i have it appart i could upgrade them, but if it's going to be a pain, i'll rebuild the drums and be done with it.

At one time there were rear disc kits available just like for the atc90/110, but nowadays they are pretty rare. If you are not a fabricator and don't have access to alot of spare parts or a machine shop, then you may just want to rebuild your drum. It is a doable project, just takes some maching and fabrication and maybe some welding depending on how you want to do it.

it might be easyer then you think

on my 110 i used a 200x axle with the disc brakes. all you need to do is cut the drum brake section of the carrier off and the 200x brake hub should slide right on.

now you probaly will need to make a spacer to locate the disc hub where you want it but other then that you just mount the master cly and your set.
