    Tri-moto 125/175 shift linkage question

    My '80 YT125 shift linkage is in poor shape, & I'm looking for a replacement. The 1980 YT125 set up is a rod from the foot shifter to a triangular plate, & a second rod that connects to the shift arm(I'm calling this the 3 piece set up). I am seeing a couple listings on Evilbay for linkages that are 2 piece & the sellers say that they'll work on all 125's & 175's, but I don't believe it. Can any one help me out, as to the interchangeabiltiiy of the Tri-Moto shift linkages? Thanks, Brian.

    Brian, If you have all the shifter pieces off the 175, try and fit it to the 125, couldn't hurt.
