ever put one in a 350x fork tube when the strength of the circlip is more than your pliers.

Buy the proper tool and they are easy. You guys are whining like babies. Do you expect a $350 Chinese atv to run as good as and last as long as a $2,500 Jap model? Don't expect cheap tools to work that well either.

this just makes me think of will ferrel in blades of glory...

"whoever invented rope was a real A-hole"

    or

    "Rope....you are a WORTHY adversary"

but yeah, tool or no tool, you trying taking out a rusted circlip inside of a 350x fork tube.

when one end of the circlip snapped off, it was a relief, cause I could just pull the little bugger out and buy some new ones.

Can you recommend a place to find a LARGE pair of circlip pliers? nobody around here ever seems to have any. That's always been my problem. The three pair I have are never big enough to open them.

I'm sure Sears has them. If not mine are all snap on or mac. Don't you work at car dealerships, just watch when the tool truck pulls in. Might cost you $25 for a pair but they will last forever.

If you guys think those are tough I deal with some circlips that are 5-8 inch in diameter, now thats a big pair of pliers and trust me those clips can fly 30 feet when they come out of the pliers.

Im with smokin and the rest...take a look on a decent tool truck and youll find exactly what you need....These lil guys are pretty easy to deal with...when you start getting over the 4"x1/4" range they can start to become a little more tricky.
