200x dead, wanted 250r
My 86 200x is dead.... from what I can see, the valve clip must have somehow came off or it jumped time.... any ways the intake valve is bent into a 90 degree and totalled the head, the top of the valve where the clip goes is sheared off too..... the valve guide is broken and it needs a head.... the jug seems fine no scars and it has/had compression. The piston has a few dents in it from the valve and the valve guide pieces smashing into it... I just redid the top end 2 years ago too and had the head machined, new valves, springs, seals, clips, etc professionally done.... Im very disappointed
I want to get a 250r now, I always have, but now Im sick of 4 strokes....
I would like to get an 83-86 250r, dont care if air cooled or liquid (obviously from the years)... I can pay outright or I have my 86 200x that needs the motor fixed, and enough parts to build another complete 86 200x minus a motor to offer in trade plus cash....
Any offers let me know....
