    Spares Request

I own a 3wheeler Kawasaki KXT250-B1 1986 Tecate and I am in need for engine spares but most importantly I am in great need of all fenders and seat. I have tried to look through local distributors but they do not support. Any suggestions to track down any spares/accessories

    Hi and welcome!
Our first Grecian member I think. Sorry, do you prefer Grecian, or Greek? Don't forget to go here http://www.frappr.com/3wheelerworld and put yourself on the map.

There is quite a few members here from Greece actually, all with Tecates I believe try doing a search on the memberslist: http://3wheelerworldforums.com/memberlist.php and see if it'll turn up the other guys. There was just a post recently about a KX500 conversion project in the mad scientist lair by a Greek member, and he had stacks of parts. Welcome to the forum

Guys, thanks for a great welcoming ....Grecian/Greek, both are good. More or less we do share same culture with italy. Regarding my request, I have been trying to figure out a way to fix up my bike as it is of sentimental value not to say that nothing compares to the feeling of two-stroke engines. Ridden the Canam, Ktm, Polaris, all with 4-stroke engines. There are for sure fast but nothing comparable to the aggressiveness of the Tecate! Anyway, will keep on trying. Later....

86 t3 parts.... first off try and hit hornetpowersports up. he is a member on here and thats his forum name, he makes some nice reproduction scoops, both left and right, and the headlight shroud as well. as for fenders, front and back can be bought thru ebay, thru chaplin kawasaki. a dealership here in conneticut, usa. chaplinkawasaki.com . as for motor parts and such, your best bet is ebay, posting a want ad in the classifieds, etc. most kawasaki dealerships wont carry many oem parts for the 86 model. dont get me wrong here, there are the parts out there, but you will have to do you investigating and research. the kawi's are a bit harder to get nos oem parts for because kawi has discontinued alot fo the stuff. good luck and welcome to the boards. suprised this has been asked yet in this thread, but wheres the pics? post some up!!! nice to hear another mad kawi is going to get the tlc they deserve.
