Just wondering whats done at the factory. Do they clear coat bare aluminum unless it's anodized? Is it possible to shine and clear coat our stuff with some durability or just leave well enough alone?

yes factory alm. wheels are clear coated, you can polish them if you remove the clear coat but its not worth the hassle big pain in the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. :evil:

they have to.... they can also paint it, but it isn't very durable. bare aluminum will oxidize without anything covering it.
