    My '85 ATC 70

Here are some pics of my family's 1985 Honda ATC 70 that we have had since new. It's still in really good shape, so it didn't need much of a restoration, just a good cleaning. I did order a new carb, air filter, spark plug, and set of tires for it from Service Honda. I also sandblasted and repainted the wheels. Just need my parts to arrive! We also have two 1983 ATC 200s as well.

loving it man, sweet condition that thing is in. plan on keeping it as stock as possible? if not you could always hit sterdy.com up, some nice aftermarket parts for the 70, as well as dratv.com. they have complete line of replacement parts for them. i think some chrome rims with the mini holeshots would be nice on it. either way, sweet 70. nice to see one as original as that, and still owned by the original owner.

I almost bought a set of the polished Douglas rims and mini Holeshots for it, but figured with as original as it is, it would probably make more sense to keep it stock. I would like to get another one some day though and get the polished wheels, the Holeshots, the 88cc engine kit, and an aftermarket exhaust for it. Thanks for the comments!

Hey, yeah I posted it over at SLF as well, thanks for commenting on it there. I thought your screen name looked familiar. Yup, I live in Indy and was actually in Mishawaka less than two weeks ago when I went to the Pro MX Nationals at Red Bud in Buchanan, MI.

Yeah, that thing looks beautiful, I've been wondering about cleaning and painting my wheels too. How did you come up with a correct color match?

It's actually just Duplicolor wheel paint from Autozone...$4.99 a can. It's a little bit lighter than the factory color with a little more metallic in it. After I sandblasted them, I used a coat of gray primer, several coats of the Duplicolor silver wheel paint, then several coats of Duplicolor clearcoat wheel paint. I think they turned out pretty good.

Does anyone know where I may be able to find the front black plastic number plate? My original one has a crack in it and I can't seem to find it. I have only seen one on eBay, but it was off an '81 and it had a crack in it as well.
