Here is my new 1982 atc 250r. It is as old as me. Traded my project 1983 250r for it. Its not in too bad of condition but needs major work. As the pics show. Hoping to get it bored and a new piston. Tires are great, wrong rims and that small front tire make it look funny. It has 3 inch wheel spacers on it which are made of nylon. I had to tighten almost all of the bike as every thing was loose.

wow...your piston up there is in WAY better shape than the one in my cousins STILL RUNNING STRONG KX80.....it needs rebuilt badly before something gets seriously broke.

go through the carb and petcock or you'll be rebuilding it again real soon.

Well I have cleaned the air box all up. Thge carb that is on it I do not believe is the stock one. It is a mukuni but has a "not for air craft use" sticker on the float bowl of the carb. Anyone know what seat is on this bike? 350x 200x or another 250r seat? The frame has a serious heavy paint job and will be getting panted. Any sugestions on paint scheme?

The seat does look like an 86 250r seat.Need any parts shoot me a pm.I have an extra complete motor and a few other parts.good luck.

The seat does not fit right. The front of the seat comes up the tank too much. It is nice and soft tho. Anyone have some good pictures of there 82?

It was recently rebuilt by the original owner. I have no idea what some of the parts are off. 4 bolt now 6 bolt rims. Did these bikes have aluminum rims? 3 bolt rims are hard to find.
