I used to have that same silencer - ugh - too big and bulky and fell apart a week after I had the bike.

I think he said he's using the silencer from the 82 he bought instead of this one now though?

You need to get a new silencer or put the baffle back in that one or you'll be loosing lots of power.
Check on the new pics, it's not the same silencer. The baffle is on on this one.

Regrets it now. New plastics, new seat cover, rebuilt motor, new itp wheels, clarke tank, rickter silencer, mugen pipe, case saver, k&n filter, 30mm carb and more. Needed a little paint and some finishing touches.

Brockey you brought that R back from the dead. Looked pretty cool with the Maier plastic and white tank ....... thats the one machine that I need... an early 250r .

    Updates

Some new pics of my trike with the new stuff installed

    List of new stuff:

    - New handlebar
    - New rear rims with used 4-snow
    - New 400ex rear hub
    - New 200x front end (forks, triple clamp, front hub, front rims, front tire)
    - New 350x front fender

I wait to receive the headlight. But for now, my major problem is to made a caliper bracket to hold it on the 200x forks. The 200x caliper and the 250r caliper are the same, only the bracket to hold it on the forks is different. So if anyone can make me a template on paper at the real size of the bracket on the 200x, I can made one by myself after. If someone can help me, it can be very appreciate.

    Hope you enjoy !!
