    success in canada :D updated 08/27/2008 99% done :D

well my 200x that ive been working on is still a pile of steel in the back yard lol but i found a complete 200x parts bike with everything on it from a guy who just restored one. He knows what the parts are worth so it wasnt exactly free but it gets me a hell of alot closer to getting mine together, aparently the guy who had it cut the front off the frame to try to stuff a 400ex into it, but failed lol. So seeing as i have a good main frame for my 83 ill just swap the swinger and everything to it and call it good ill be picking it up tomorrow before work so i should have a few pics up for you guys before i get flamed with a this thread is useless without pics :P

hes also got 3 other 200x engines that are if various states of needing a rebuild, might pick those up later when some money allows. Had to buy a new truck so money is kinda tight atm.

    Success in canada! update (pics)

well guys got her home today, i dont like how the frame has been cut in 4 pieces on the down tube so im thinking ill sacrifice the beat 83 for the down tube and weld it in one shot, then get it running it looks like its in amazing shape tho for whats there, front brakes work but need new pads, rear has no brake fluid yet so its unknown with that... Swingarm bearings are good and tight, ordered some chain tensioners for it today, should have my mounts within the next week or 2 and have the engine in anyways as promised some big pics What you guys think?

its really beat and i found some spots where the frame was "modified" by the previous owner, and the 84 stuff wont bolt up without a trip to the machine shop... so its easier for me to cut the 83frame and get myself a good strong 84
