changes from year to year

I have a 1982 Honda 185s
I was wanting to know if there are big changes from the 1981 year to 1982.I found a Repair Manual 1980 - 1981 on ebay but dont know if it would be any help to me.

Main changes are in the wiring. On 81, they have a round headlight and the headlight switch is on the headlight. On 82 and later the switch is on the handlebars. I know 82 is cdi and I'm not sure if 81 is points or not. I can look in my manual and let you know if you'd like, but that will be later after I get home from work.

I have an 82 185s and a 83 185s. Here's some of the things I've noticed. The rear fenders attach different and the rear wheels have a different bolt pattern. Plus the 82 does not have front suspension.

Thanks, My 185 has front suspension and has the 1982 Honda tag on the frame.I was told that this means it was made the last few month of 1982 before the 83's came out.

according to my clymer book that year was a cdi

or someone did a front end swap...really common and easy to do
