200s not running - where do YOU buy parts?

Well, here I am again posting. I got my 200s the other day. I could push start it and it worked. Then I changed the oil and sparkplug then soaked it down with engine degreaser and now - she won;t even go for a pushstart. I got the pull start working (just needed lubed) unitl the cord snapped......

Any ideas? I'm thinking that the electronics might need to be replaced and the carb rebuilt (it all lokks to be in need of a going over anyhow). When it ran it ran like a raped ape, but now all I have is a dead trike to look at.

Does anyone have a favorite seller on flea bay? are there any memebers that own parts depots or anything - - I'd love to get hooke up with someone who has parts for this thing!

    Thanks in advance.

    Ive bought a TOn there...

www.bikebandit.com - diagrams and oem parts!

You should let the trike dry out... does it have spark? If it does try spraying some starting fluid in the air cleaner and see if it runs... mine always had problems starting but then ran great...

go to a local atv shop and get the right pullcord... TRUST ME, Ive redone my pullstarter like 50+ times... it SUCKS, get the right cord and do it right...

Also, take out the yellow decompression rings BS and the decompression cable, they are useless nd eize and break ropes... ditch that crap asap!

If it runs with starting fluid then try tapping on the carb adn see if it gets fuel... my float valve sticks all the time... i need a rebuild kit...

ALSO, WHEN YOU REBUILD THE PULLSTART - DO NOT LET THE BIG COIL SPING IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CASE COME OUT! IT BLOWS TO PUT BACK IN!

lol, I can get it in in 10 minutes now, but the first few times it was an hour plus... worst thing EVER.. Ida rather been kicked in the nuts lol

`also check the tank. you may have rust in it and it's getting into the carb and clogging it. you may have to treat the tank prior to usage again and clean the carb. it's pretty common with these old trikes.

pull the plug and ground it to the head, then push it in gear to see if it has spark
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.
