I just ran the tecate thru a 6" mud puddle and loaded the engine with water.. needless to say its dead. here is what I know: there was very little water in the exhaust, I have no compression at all and from what I could see through the ehaust port the piston is pretty scratched up. Obviously the piston and rings will need to be replaced, but is there something that I should do to make sure that I dont ruin the bottom half of the engine before I pull the jug or am I way past worring about that at this point? Whats the first step?![]()
