    250r question

    i am redoing my 86 R and have a question about the headlight shell, didn't the 85 have a smaller headlight lens? if so where can i find an aftermarket shell, all i am finding are shells for an 85

    Looking for one myself for my 86 rebuild. Last one I saw was on e-bay a few days ago. Aftermarket ones are about 80 bucks or so. Just saw an OEM one (with a crack in it to boot) go for 100 bucks!!!

    new OEM plastic shell for the 86 are 70,00$...look at www.cyclepartswarehouse.com

    Bad350, both the shell & headlight lens are different from 85-86. From what I understand, none of the aftermarket plastic manufacturers ever made any headlight shells for the '86 250R, only the '85.

    bikebandit.com has OEM new bezels. Go to the 1986 250R schematic and they are there. My buddy just bought one last month...like $80+ but its Honda OEM
    1986 Honda 350X - stock w/ supertrapp, K&N, DG wheels
    1985 Honda 250R - OEM fresh trailer queen, but I'll ride it
    1985 Honda 250R - "rider" but still pretty original

    2005 Yamaha YZ250 - stock
    2007 PW50 - stock

    2005 Chevy Silverado crew cab - red, 5.3L
