Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY SH-T, what a ride!"
Good luck bloke
Because it came from a two wheeler, I'm sure most of the conversion bits. Ah-la Kawasaki and Honda, should be easy to get. They seem to have been sourced from what ever was the standard at the time.
Seems like the bits your after are the rare bits. Aint it always the way (haven't got a KXT250B inlet manifold by chance have you?). I'd have to agree with previous posts. I'd be Looking for the two wheeler as a whole. Does a husky motor fit in that frame?
Am I right in thinking the Cagiva 250cc, whilst very quick, was actually 200cc?
My toys 85 KXT250A2, 85 ATC250R, 85 Tri-z 250, 06 LT-R450, 04 YFZ450S, 07 125 typhoon x 3, 06 FPV GT.
OZ, no sorry on the intake, but a friend has a few spare T-3 parts and I"ll see what he has. As for the engine, it'a actually a 190cc making 38 horsepower.
And yes, I"m aware my best bet for parts is finding a WMX dirtbike which is what I have been searching for. I've found a few 83 model parts, anyone know what years will interchange ? Oh, and no I don't think the husky engine will work. Most of the one's I"ve seen have had the chain on the right side. Speaking of which, anyone know if a front sprocket from another machine will work ? Also back to the seat, was this a one off by Tricky dicks, or did they use the seat from the bike or the T-3 ?
if i'm not mistakin the 83 and 84 wmx250 didnt change.
so they are actualy the same machine.
but you'd have to check that couse i'm about 85% sure on that.
over here in the netherlands i know 2 guys that are selling the wmx125 but i dont know if the 250 and 125 parts interchange!
