centrifugal clutch slip in atc1984 125m

    g'day people

i have got a 1984 atc 125m and the centrifical clutch slips/doesnt engaged fully. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and know how to fix it.

i do have the service manual for it but it doesnt say anything on the subject.

is i just a matter of clean all the clutch parts and new oil or something more?

    thanks.

if it is the centrifugal clutch i'm assuming you would have to replace the shoes inside the drum for it... i haven't done one yet but are you sure its not the clutch plates slipping? Have you tried adjusting them?

You can replace the shoes in the centrifugal clutch. We've done 2 different ones and had to do some filing on the metal part of the shoes to fit them inside the shell.
