    Carb adjustment

Hey guys, the KLT 250 Prairie that I just bought will only run when the choke is all the way on and thumbing the throttle. I had the bowl off of the carb this weekend and everything looks clean. I sprayed air through every hole that I could find and still have the same problem.

Any ideas on what adjustments to make, or what is causing this? The carb is a Keihin PW26.

    Thanks

Probably a clogged pilot jet. I see this on almost every carb that has had gas sit in it a while. Take the pilot jet out and see if you can see daylight through it or blow through it. Somtimes you can clean the gunk out with a small wire but I usually end up replacing it.

I had the exact problem with my 250es. I got a carb kit on ebay and it came with new jets. I runs like a new one now. The problem with mine I think was the slow jet was varnished up
