    Tri-Moto 200 Shifting Problem

Hi guys a just bought a 1984 Tri-Moto 200 and it seemed like the clutch was bad sp I a justed the Nut and flathead screw on the side of the crankcase and messed everything up. So i took it apart and found that the mechanism in there had broke so i took the mechanism out it figured it to be all good. But that was a bad idea. Would the breakage of this mechanism not allow it to be in neutral when you hold the shifter up because that is what happened once i removed all the broken parts. I put every thing back together right just i guess that part needs to be in the case huh? Man im kicking my self for touching that screw.

Yeah, Yamaha didn't add exta parts in there just for the fun of it. Was it that arm that attaches to the cover that broke?
