    1984 200x questions

my buddy dropped off his 200x because he had a guy(tool) put a topend on it and theres some nuts missing and it ran ok before he had this done but had low compression
. now it has no spark and as i was looking at it..... theres a small pin that goes in the camshaft that turns the pick up coil and its missing .any one have one ????
also he said since the rebuild that it was full of oil and now since its been sitting theres no oil in it ..
now i see at the base of the jug where theres an oil leak like the base gasket didnt seat can i tighten up the head bolts to eliminate the leak???
and also is there a adjustment to adjust where the pickup and the rotor meet and how to do it its been awhile since ive messed with them
also im looking for the cam chain adjuster screw that goes in the top of the adjuster

i've got all the parts you need. from the sound of it, i'd pull the head and take a look at everything first.

The four nuts on top of the head are what tightens the whole topend down. As for the ignition adjustment you can remove the small plug on the left side cover and line the F mark on the flywheel with the noth in the plug hole. Then you have a small amount of adjustment in the CDI plate, you want to line the mark on the rotor with the line on the pick up

the gap should be 0.3-0.4mm (0.012-0.016 in.) You can adjust the gap by loosening the two bolts that hold the pulser
