    need help with band name

    hey guys me and my band are getting very serious and we are getting pretty good with covers as well as several original songs...but are problem is we cant come up with band name...and we need one asap we are starting to get paid for our gigs and we also have a chance to record our originals with bruce hornsby and have him play are songs on his radio station here in virginia...we play soft and southern rock as well as some country and a little bit heavier rock...so we need a name that is layed back but at the same time says we dont play all soft stuff...so help me out on ideas guys

    a good way to form a band name is to find a term that defines the titles or themes of your original songs, weather it be in another language, or a rarely heard of definition, thats where you will get a unique but fitting band name, or even combine that definition with something in your life u find meaning from, there are tons of factors in deciding a band name

    Write random words on small pieces of paper. Place random words in a hat or other suitable container. Pick three. Arrange. There's your name.

    Or you could try the Stone Temple Pilots method. Think of initials you like (ie: STP) and come up with words to fit the initials.

    Also, learn the difference between "our" and "are".

    iv called country music twang for years....god i hate that stuff
    80s......185 atc, Yamaha tri-moto 200, 85 200x with tons of work

    Had a buddy who had a popular local band a few years ago, They had a 3 initial name.

    It probably stood for some stupid inside joke between band members, but they never told anyone what it stood for.
