I think if you get it that deep, it will flip over on ya.

    Cool job, though.

Yeah. If you 'water wheelie' it, it does great in 3 to 4 ft of water. If you get deeper than that, it tries to come over backward. Any little bump to the side and it tries to roll with ya. Lots of fun though!

I have everything vented to the handle bars, and these pics are in almost waist deep water.

Its really not bad. Make sure the tire pressure is the same on the rear tires and keep shifting your weight forward to keep it down some and this thing will get down with the get down. the deepest I've been is 4' and I havent had problems yet. I'll be snorkeling the exhaust soon so I wont have to keep it wide open when I'm under water.

And seeing isnt a problem, they arent as high as they look.

Dude thats awesome!! What do you have for tires on the back? Are those on the stock rims? I am looking for something meatier and those look nice! By the way, forgive the stupid question but what does it take to do something like this

Yeah they're stock rims. I believe its either the swamper tsl or the vampire. They are pretty close in design.

I'll try to give a basic parts list:
    -2 1.5" p traps (abs)
    -1.5" abs pipe
    -2 1.5" female adaptors
    -2 1.5" galvanized close nipples
    -1/4" steel plate
    -2 1.25" galvanized street elbows
    -4' of pool vaccum hose
    -shitload of silicone/rtv
    -pipe clamps

The pictures don't do much justice. I welded the 2 nipples in 2 holes i cut in the plate. I then welded that plate to my headlight cage. to one snorkel i ran all my ventlines. To the other nipple. I welgeg a 1.25" street elbow and threaded the other elbow into it. The pool hose slipped over the threaded end of the elbow. The hose just happens to fit snuggly in the airbox. Some rtv to seal everything up and its done deal. Be sure to run ALL your vent lines. Carb, crank case, gas tank, rear end, brakes. Its worth it. I'm tired of getting water in my oil. This fixed it. Any questions are welcome

I went a little different route with my snorkle and made it fully removable. If your not going through water can you unhook it or pull those top tubes off? Good on ya for running all your vent lines to safety! I've haven't had anything contaminated with water/silt since I did so.

Going through deep water is loads of fun! My SX won't quite float with me on it but it does come very close. If you let a rear tire rise up it will roll over quick! Here's a pic of my 25's underwater...

biggsauce - so those tires would fit on my 250sx? I have mud bog or some cheap tire on there now...nothing great and they dont clean off very well. I am looking for something really meaty. do you know what size those are?? I really like 'em

Yes I can take them off, I just like how they look haha

As for the tires, they will fit. The only difference between the es and the sx (from what I understand) is the sx doesnt have the racks. Its a 25" tire and is 13.5 inches wide (I think)
