Trike is now race ready.

Finally got my 86r the way I want it for MX racing. Here is how she looks now:







This winter she will get tore down and the frame will be painted. I'll go over the entire bike and make her really sharp.

Since I have got it I have put on the following items

10" front wheel and tire

10" rear wheels and fast trekkers

nerf bars

Power Madd Hand Guards

Silver Maier front and rear plastic

Silver Clarke Tank

Custom Decals

New Seat (Actually Kintore kind of did this for me)

That is about it. I sure like her looks. Enjoy - and stay tuned to the Smith Road thread in the racing section for pics of her in action on Labor Day.

The wife got them for me for my Birthday last year - not sure exactly how she acquired them - she said she bought them from Maier - but they are not available on the website now. I am a lucky guy I guess

Thank god you got rid of that oversize tank, I felt like I was in stirups giving birth at the hospital when I was riding/racin the damn thing! haha

Jeez, all of us at the OTC now are high rollin with sick machines now a days. Hybrids/bigbores/custom plastics what will be next?

That is a cool as heck idea for a truck decal Freak - I might have to see about getting a long strip of those made for that very idea!. A little story behind those tracks (that are often times mistaken for leopard spots BTW).

On our honeymoon at Silver Lake sand dunes - one of the shops out there have ATC marks in the concrete floor. Like someone rode a 3 wheeler across the cement before it was completely dry. I thought it was way cool because they were OEM tires that left the marks. So we took a picture of the tracks in the floor. So Shelly took that picture to the decal guy and he digitally imposed them on the decals - so those tire prints are stock OEM tires for a 250R that drove across wet cement at Silver Lake and are now on my trike - neat eh?

Nope - I had every intention of doing so - but there were too many set backs & bugs to work out. Maybe next year I will race her - it is very ridable and super on the trails - but for the MX track - you need to have a very different set up and for now the 250 is perfect for that.

Moday! but it is not my first race on it actually. Iraced it on Memorial day too.
