Custom Sled Idea

Hey, havent been around in awhile, but ive been thinkin about builden a complete custom sled. Well my plan is to start with a yamaha et250/300 because there a small light and decently strong chassis, and are around every were. Im going to take a yamaha blaster that i have with a suzuki t500 engine , cut the front end completely on, weld it to the yamaha et chassis, brace it up so its beefy, put a 500 l/c engine, run radiators etc, raise the steering stem into a more vertical posistion, make a completely new and custom body work(hood,panels,etc.) Throw a riser, tunnel supports, 121 track and suspension and as well maybe even a custom seat with a possibly even custom tank.

So your wanting to put a-arms on it and keep the skis? i was thinking about doing the exact same thing.It may just be to much work for what its worth. I have a 89 polaris 340 sprint that im rebuilding very similar to what you want to do (minus the a arms and big engine) Heres a few pics. Im also putting in a 121 with a better track that has a few studs. Also has suspension risers.I have some extra pipes im going to put on also.Engines in the shop getting bored out.
