.... oh boy here we go ..... as far as top speed stock goes, @ sea level, my pick would be an LT500R. The quickest .... well, I'd pick whoever has the most skill and is having the best day riding and leave it at that. At least this isn't a vs. thread.

I'd say the quadzilla then its really close between the quadracer, tecate4, banshee, and 250R,but banshee could have the edge. But id rather have the R.

The Shellac 1200 is the fastest stock 4 wheeler. I rode one all the way to 182 mph with 1/4 throttle left. It's runs off a 50/50 mix of rocket fuel and nitrous oxide. It costs 382,000 dollars.

The Cannondales are the fastest stock, mass produced, currently manufactured ATV on the market today.

Well, i don't know from what perspective we are talking about, but, i can tell you what is fastest from the bottom of the dune to the top of the dune in order, all in stock trim. Here goes: The new Gas Gas 300, Banshee, Cannondale Speed 440, Raptor, DS, Predator, TRX250R, Z400, 400EX and whatever else. I know these because just this past weekend we had this very race and it came out like this nearly every time. The Cannondales are cool but stockers won't take a banshee. That damn Gas Gas is awesome. I never did beat that guy but I just got my new LRD's so i will be gunnin for 'em next time. We didn't race the V Force but i did watch one get smoked by a raptor consistently so it's probably around there with a predator. Didnt have a stock LT500 either but I have seen them in action too and they really don't pack the punch that everyone thinks they do. They probably have a slight edge on a banshee if any. Give everybody a few bucks for mods and then banshees run the show. A mild banshee will beat a mild anything else. i'm sure this will get some argument but, I can't dispute what i experienced several times over. So my vote for fastest stocker (if you can call it that) is the Gas Gas. Thats the way the cookie crumbles.

Rider experience is everything...Put a 10 year old on the Gas Gas and me on a ATC110 and I bet you anything I'd win. We're talking about top speed anyways. Also...Welcome to the board Big Juice. :-P

I remember these numbers from the old days when the magazines used to put the top speeds by radar gun in their reviews:
250R---70
Banshee---70
Tecate---74
LT500---76
