Big Red question should be easy
Just picked up what was advertized as a 86 big red but after driving 2 hours turns out its an 85. runs good so no worries there, question is do Big Red 250ES' have a kick start plus electric? or do I have an SX motor in my newly aquired Red?

Yes, ALL Big Reds had electric start (82-88), and 85+ also had kickstart. The engine is similar to a 250sx but the most noticeable difference is the paint, 250sx engines were black and the 250es engines werent painted.
