does anyone out there know if a coil of a 86 trx250 4 wheeler will work on a 86 250sx, the manfacturer list's them as diffrent part numbers but i dont see why there diffrent it's pretty much the same engine. any help would be appreciated

You can hit "edit" and delete those other posts if you want.....
Honda changed part numbers for nearly nothing sometimes but as far as wiring goes, they do seem to dick around with plugs from time to time for some crazy reason.........

thanks for the replies, my 86 250sx already has a ricks hot cdi box on it and id like to put a hot coil on it as well, no one makes them specifically for my bike, but they make them for the trx250 for some reason, so now im going to get one and see if it works.
