    I think you did just fine, that quad looks to be in very nice shape.

    I just had an 03 here for 3 weeks. The frame snapped clean through above the shock mount on both sides. All kinds of brackets were cracked, snapped, bent or missing and even the upper motor mounts were both cracked. Ever piece of plastic was cracked and those stupid ASS plastic pins were all missing or broke.

    Rear silencer loose, carrier junk, axle threads junk, needs valve adjusting BAD and on and on. I wouldn't have paid 500$ for his quad and I did 300$ worth of work......

    I started thinking about adjusting the valves but I was 6 hours deep into already. People like to ride and don't like to pay

    Just like anything else, it's all about how well you take care of it and yours looks very well taken care of.

    Keep an eye on that frame just above the front shocks, I made and migged in a nasty gusset that welded to both the side stock gussets and the upper shock mount itself. Should hold up great but it wasn't easy!
