I did a search and didn't get the exact answer I wanted so here is a new thread. What is the stock tire size on the 86' Tecate?

The front tire is 23 x 9.00-11. A quick question for you also if your working up there. Did, or do you have to remove your hub to get your front caliper off?

I have no idea, haven't had the front tire/wheel off yet. The reason I asked is because there is a 22 x 8-11 Dunlop tire and wheel on ebay that the seller claims to be for an 86 Tecate.

You mean the caliper on/off? I think I know now, I had to loosen the hub/rim to slide the caliper off-manual didnt say that. Said to take out the caliper mounting bolts and unscrew the axle/bolt to seperate it from the fork leg.

My caliper hit the outer rim though, and wouldnt come out. I ended up taking the rim and hub off
